The agreement on the liberalization of freight transportation between Ukraine and Moldova has been extended until the end of 2025.
The agreement concluded between the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development of the Republic of Moldova enables carriers to carry out two-way and transit transportation by road without special permits. The corresponding protocol, which deals with the decision to extend the liberalization, was signed following the results of the meeting of the Ukrainian-Moldovan Joint Commission on international road transport on September 13-14.
“Transport visa-free” between neighboring countries has been extended until the end of 2025.
The previous Agreement on the liberalization of cargo transportation was signed in August 2022, it was supposed to be in effect until the end of this year and provided for the possibility of extension by agreement of the parties.
