The value threshold for international postal items without written declaration has been increased from 150 euros to 1,000 euros.
The Verkhovna Rada adopted amendments to the Customs Code in draft law No. 9456. This was announced by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danylo Hetmantsev in Telegram.
“This law resolves the issue of raising the value threshold of goods that are sent by FOPs and enterprises outside of Ukraine in international postal or express shipments without written declaration. Before the changes, the obligation to submit a written customs declaration by businesses existed for goods worth more than 150 euros. We increased this threshold to 1,000 euros,” Hetmantsev explained.
These initiatives are aimed at supporting and developing Ukrainian business, reducing administrative costs and speeding up logistics processes. From now on, our entrepreneurs will have more opportunities to expand their activities on the international market!
